Untuk menggambarkan suasana hati, kata-kata adalah perangkat yang tepat. Namun, kadangkala kata-kata tak cukup untuk mendeskripsikan suasana hati. Suasana itu terlalu mendalam dan terlalu meluas sehingga kata-kata bahkan tak dapat mengungkapkannya. Dalam konteks relasi cinta, kata-kata yang tidak mampu menggambarkan suasana hati ini galib terjadi. Dua orang yang sedang berelasi cinta bisa menggunakan kata-kata untuk menggambarkan suasana hati namun dua orang itu mesti terbuka juga terhadap pada hal-hal yang tidak terkatakan.
